Gold price rises amid rupee’s upward trend

KARACHI: The price of gold on Monday witnessed a slight surge, despite the Pak rupee continuing its upward trajectory against the greenback.

According to the details, the price of pure gold of 24 karats per tola has increased by Rs600. This takes the price of gold per tola to Rs151,800.

The Sindh Sarafa Bazar Association informed that the price of 10-gram also popped by Rs514 and now it is available at Rs130,144.

In the international market, the price of gold per ounce has decreased by $5. The gold per ounce reached $1,676. The price of pure Silver of 24 karats remained unchanged at Rs1,610 per tola.
