Gold prices in Pakistan goes down

KARACHI:The Pakistani jewellery market the consecutive second day of the business week witnessed a big decrease in the prices of gold on Tuesday.

According to a report, the prices of 24 karats pure gold were reduced by Rs2,300 per tola to Rs2,28,100 per tola in the Pakistani market.

The price of 10 grams of 24 karats gold reduced by Rs1,972 to Rs1,95,559 per 10 grams. The prices of 22 karats of gold were also reduced and traded at Rs1,79,262 per 10 grams in the Pakistani jewellers market.

The price of 21 karats of gold which is used for making jewellery is also reduced and traded at Rs2,00,025 per tola.

On the other hand, in the international market, the price of gold was increased by US$24 to US$1,964 per ounce.

The price of 24 karat pure silver was reduced by Rs100 per tola by Rs2,650 per tola in the local market while the price of 10 grams of 24 karats gold was reduced by Rs85.74 to Rs2,271.94 per 10-gram.
