’Government stands shoulder to shoulder with the people in this difficult time’: Sindh Spokesperson for the Government of Pakistan

Raja Khaliq-uz-Zaman Ansari, spokesperson for the federal government in Sindh, visited several areas of Karachi affected by the floods in the Lyari River.

He met with displaced citizens and told them that the government stands shoulder to shoulder with the people in this difficult time. He assured them of full cooperation from the federal government.

Ansari conveyed Prime Minister Mian Shehbaz Sharif’s message of sympathy and cooperation.

He also contacted representatives of NDMA and PDMA and instructed them to expedite relief operations by identifying the affected areas.

The federal spokesperson praised the efforts of the rescue personnel and officials and reiterated the government’s commitment to helping the people during this difficult time.

Ansari’s visit included Lasi Goth, Ayub Goth, areas near Jamali Bridge, Shahbaz Goth, M9, and Jinnah Avenue.

He also inspected town hospitals and temporary relief camps and assessed the condition of the victims and resources.
