Islamabad, December 18, 2020 (PPI-OT): Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Shibli Faraz has said the government, following the law and Constitution, would request the Election Commission of Pakistan to conduct the Senate elections before a month of its stipulated time.
Talking to a private news channel, he said the incumbent government’s topmost priority is to hold the Senate polls in effective and transparent manners. The minister said it is the ECP’s discretion to conduct the polls before a month or not.
