Sindh Governor Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi on Sunday paid glowing tribute to Nishan-e-Haider recipient Captain Karnal Sher Khan Shaheed on the occasion of his 27th martyrdom anniversary.
The governor also offered special prayers for the elevation of the martyr’s ranks.
In his message, the Governor said that the unparalleled sacrifice of Captain Karnal Sher Khan Shaheed was a golden chapter in Pakistan’s history that could never be forgotten.
He said that the brave son of the nation had displayed extraordinary courage and valour during the Kargil conflict, setting an enduring example of patriotism and heroism.
Hashmi further stated that heroes like Captain Karnal Sher Khan Shaheed were the true pride of the nation. He said that the entire nation would always remember his supreme sacrifice with gratitude and salute his unwavering devotion to the motherland.
He added that the martyrs of the Pakistan Armed Forces were the nation’s pride, its greatest honour, and its true strength. He said that their sacrifices for the defence of the country would continue to inspire future generations and would forever remain etched in the nation’s history.
