Governor Kamran Khan Tessori today inaugurated the flagship outlet of SOGO E-Bikes.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony, the Governor said that whenever the country’s defence was at stake, the armed forces, under the leadership of the Field Marshal, never disappointed the nation. ‘We are a victorious nation that has won the war, and the days of freedom from debt are approaching,’ he said.
Addressing traders and industrialists, the Governor Sindh stated that Pakistan has now become the centre of global attention. ‘We have endured hardships for 70 years, but better days are now ahead,’ he added. He emphasized that creating public awareness is their responsibility and urged stakeholders to move forward with a positive approach, establish new industries, and focus on the provision of education and healthcare. He further said that ignorance is the root cause of terrorism and that its eradication is only possible through the acquisition of knowledge.
Kamran Khan Tessori said that within four months of assuming office as Governor Sindh, he transformed the Governor House into an IT university, where 50,000 young people are currently receiving free IT training. He informed that 14 Governor initiatives are presently underway, and during the holy month of Ramadan this year, iftar and dinner will be provided to 500,000 people.
The Governor Sindh added that the Governor House is also providing motorcycles, laptops, breakfast for children, and other basic facilities to citizens.
Responding to a media query, Governor Sindh said that Karachi has given them presidents, governors and federal ministers in the past, but questioned what the city received in return. He remarked that some people remained limited to social media and, over the past four years, indulged in politics of abuse instead of public service.
