Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori has recommended a civil award for martyr Aun Abbas, who saved countless lives by acting as a human shield during the Masjid Khadijatul Kubra tragedy.
The Governor arrived at the martyr’s home on Monday, met with his family, and announced during the condolence that he would recommend to the Prime Minister that martyr Aun Abbas be honored with a civil award.
On this occasion, Governor Tessori declared Aun Abbas a national hero and praised his courageous sacrifice. He emphasized that Abbas’s selfless act of shielding others from the attacker prevented a major loss of life.
A special prayer was also offered for the high ranks of the martyr.
