ISLAMABAD: The government has taken a number of initiatives under the umbrella of Ehsaas Program for poverty alleviation and turn Pakistan into a welfare state. According to an official report, Ehsaas Program is providing relief to needy irrespective of political, religious and social divisions.
Under Ehsaas Interest Free Loan, disbursements of 43.17 billion have so far been made amongst over 1.2 million deserving people. This program launched back in 2019 envisages disbursement of eighty thousand interest free loans every month.
