A report of firing or murder on the Pukar 15 helpline following a clash between two rival groups in Basti Kot Ghulamabad on Wednesday proved to be false and baseless. Upon receiving the information, the police immediately swung into action.
Arriving at the scene, officers investigated and confirmed that the initial information regarding any casualties or the use of firearms was completely baseless and false.
In connection with the altercation, law enforcement officials have taken four individuals belonging to both warring groups into custody.
Disciplinary and legal proceedings have been initiated against the accused. Officials stated that the police force remains constantly vigilant to maintain peace and order in society.
