KARACHI:A group of wanted street criminals arrested by the police from Quaidabad on Monday.
According to police sources, a squad of Quiadabad police station carried out a raid in area and arrested a group wanted street criminals.
The arrested three-member gang was also involved in snatching and stealing motorcycles. The arrested accused persons have been identified as Sayed Umar, Habib ur Rehman and Abdullah. The police claimed to have recovered illegal weapons snatched motorcycle from the possession of arrested accused. The motorcycle recovered from the accused was snatched from Quaidabad police station area.
The case of robbery No. 150/2021 was registered against unknown accused in the complaint of the citizen. The arrested accused persons were involved in dozens of snatching incidents in different areas of Malir district. The arrested accused Habib-ur-Rehman was a fugitive in case No. 109/2021 of robbery registered in Landhi police station. The criminal record of the arrested accused was obtained, the police added.
The officials said that several cases had been registered against the accused in different police stations of the city. A case has been registered against the accused and investigation is underway.
