Harnai Woolen Mill Auction Challenged In High Court

The auction of Harnai Woolen Mill for a mere Rs 18 million has sparked outrage among Harnai residents, prompting a legal challenge in the Balochistan High Court.

Muhammad Yasin Tarin, President of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Harnai, voiced strong opposition to what he termed an “unjust” sale price for the mill, which occupies approximately 43 acres of land.

Tarin argued that the extensive property could be better utilized for public welfare projects such as a hospital, educational institutions, a sports complex, or other community facilities. He confirmed that a petition has been submitted to the High Court contesting the auction.
