QUETTA: Nur-Haq Baloch, Secretary, Health Department paid a visit to EPI, Headquarters here on Friday.
Secretary, Health Department inspected vaccination centre set up in the EPI Headquarters, control Room and Cold Room. Briefing the Secretary Health Department, provincial head of EPI Headquarters, Dr. Ishaq Panezai informed that refrigerator, that worked in 80 degree centigrade with storage capacity of 3500 vaccines, had been installed in the cold room.
He said that vaccine of Pfizer would be kept in the cold room. Dr. Ishaq Panezai added that 40000 doses of novel corona virus vaccine, which were about to reach today, would be inoculated to the people aged 60 and above. On the occasion, Director General, Health Services Balochistan, Dr. Ali Nasir Bughti, head of Corona Virus Cell, Dr. Naqeebullah Niazi and others were also present.
