The Meteorological Department has forecast today that most areas across the country will experience extremely hot and dry weather, with rain expected in some parts of Southern Punjab.
In the capital Islamabad and its surrounding areas, hot and partially cloudy skies are expected over the next 24 hours. This weather condition can also be seen in most districts of Punjab, where the heat will persist; however, some clouds will hover over Murree and the Galiyat. Specifically, rain is expected in areas such as Sahiwal, Bahawalnagar, Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan, DG Khan, Layyah, and Bhakkar, which may provide temporary relief from the heat.
Moving towards Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the forecast indicates that most districts will face hot conditions, although some clouds are expected to hover in the upper districts. In Sindh, the heatwave continues unabated, while partially cloudy skies are expected in the southeastern districts.
Southern districts of Balochistan face extreme temperatures, while the northeastern parts will have partially cloudy weather. Rain is forecast in certain areas like Naseerabad, Loralai, Kohlu, Barkhan, Musa Khel, and Khuzdar, which may provide temporary relief from the intense heat.
