Over 200 students from more than 50 Pakistani universities gathered at the University of Central Punjab (UCP) for the inaugural seminar of the Global Scholars Connect Series, focused on international scholarship opportunities in the sciences.
The unversity informed today that the event, hosted by UCP’s Department of Basic and Applied Chemistry, featured presentations by Dr. Ibrar Ahmed, Founder and CEO of Alpha Genomics Pvt. Ltd., and DAAD Fellow Hassan Mushtaq. The seminar offered insights into pursuing advanced scientific studies abroad.
Organized by Dr Salma Batool and Dr Momal Akram, faculty members in the Chemistry department, the session drew praise from senior UCP leadership. Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology (FOST), Prof. Dr. Hafiza Rizwana Kausar, and Chemistry Department Head, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akhyar Farrukh, commended the organizers” work and presented certificates to speakers and attendees.
