The Department of Economics at the University of Chitral has taken a major step forward by approving the launch of its Ph.D. program.

The university said today that this milestone was achieved during the department”s third Board of Studies meeting, which also focused on revisions to the BS and MPhil curricula.

The session saw participation from prominent academics, including Dr. Noor Jehan from Abdul Wali Khan University and Dr. Zakia Batool from Quaid-i-Azam University. These subject matter experts, along with internal and external board members, offered substantial input and suggestions.

The meeting concluded with expressions of gratitude from the Chair to the attendees for their contributions, emphasizing the importance of their expertise in bolstering the department’s educational offerings.
