Karachi, February 27, 2018 (PPI-OT): Sindh Home Minister Sohail Anwar Siyal on Tuesday chaired a meeting to discuss security measures for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) cricket match, scheduled to be held at the National Stadium Karachi on 25 March 2018. The meeting was attended by Home Secretary Sindh, Qazi Shahid Pervaiz; IGP Sindh, AD Khowaja, Additional IG Karachi, Mushtaq Ahmed Mehar and other officials.
Siyal was briefed about the ongoing security preparations and close cooperation between all stakeholders for bringing international and national players from their hotel to the stadium. Law enforcement agencies personnel assured that fool proof security would be ensured to protect the players during the match. Siyal instructed officials that all deployment of police should be briefed about players’ security.
