KARACHI: Pakistan Meteorological Department informed on Thursday that mainly very hot and dry weather is expected in most plain areas of the country; however, rain may occur at few places in Gilgit Baltistan, Kashmir and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with gusty wind in central/southern Punjab and lower Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during afternoon/evening.
Friday weather: Mainly very hot and dry weather is expected in most plain areas of the country. Gusty winds are likely in central/southern Punjab and lower Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with rain-wind / thunderstorm in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan, Kashmir, Islamabad, Pothohar region and northeast Punjab in the afternoon.
Past 24 Hours Weather: Weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country, while very hot in plain areas. However, rain occurred at a few places in Gilgit Baltistan and Kalam.
