Iftar Dastarkhwans established across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on provincial government’s directive

More than 15,000 deserving individuals were provided with Iftar meals yesterday under a major program initiated across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on the direction of the provincial government.

According to a report issued today, the initiative was launched implementing the directives of Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Muhammad Sohail Afridi, establishing Iftar Dastarkhwans at 60 separate locations in various districts. The Social Welfare Department, in collaboration with the local district administration, supervised the distribution process.

According to a report issued on the project, the highest number of people, 3,490, were provided with meals in the Swabi district. In Swat, a total of 3,301 individuals received meals.

Distribution efforts in other districts included Dera Ismail Khan, where 1,584 individuals were provided meals, and Peshawar, which served 1,415 individuals. In Hangu, 1,180 individuals were provided with Iftar through two established Dastarkhwans.
