Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, today issued clear directives to ensure promotions continue across all vacant positions, a senior official stated during a ceremony where newly advanced officers were reminded that their new ranks come with greater responsibility.
According to a police report, the comments were made by Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Security, Muhammad Ateeque Tahir, while addressing personnel at a dignified rank pinning event held at the Security division office.
During the formal ceremony, DIG Tahir, along with other senior officers, officially pinned the new insignias on the promoted police personnel, extending his heartfelt congratulations and sincere good wishes for their continued success.
He emphasized that the officers” advancement was the result of their hard work and dedication, noting that they have now been entrusted with even more significant duties.
DIG Tahir urged the officers to fulfill their obligations with excellence, bring pride to the department, and make the welfare of the police force and the delivery of justice to citizens their top priorities.
He instructed them to be a source of ease and support for the public, expressing his hope that they would continue to carry out their duties with unwavering dedication, politeness, sincerity, and a strong spirit of public service.
