FAISALABAD: Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah on Sunday while taking a dig at previous government said that PTI’s untimely gas agreements are responsible for current power outages.
Addressing a function to distribute cheque among the beneficiaries of the Labor Department in Faisalabad, Rana said that the issue of bad governance would now be eliminated, adding that the common man was facing hardships due to inflation but the coalition government will control it.
Rebuking the PTI government, he said that the IMF agreement was signed by former finance minister Shaukat Tareen and they took the wrong decisions intentionally to trap the government, adding that only revenge was taken by Imran Khan. According to the PTI agreement with IMF, there should be zero subsidies, he said.
PTI’s untimely agreements are responsible for current power outages,” Rana said. While explaining the current petroleum prices hike, Rana Sana said that the coalition government protected the country from bankruptcy, we had to raise the price of petrol to reduce the subsidy.
Regarding coalition partners concerns, Rana Sana said that Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif is working to solve allies concerns and things will get better soon. “The appointment of the Army Chief will be in accordance with the Constitution and the law at the set time,” he said.
