Islamabad, March 28, 2023 (PPI-OT): Islamabad Capital Police Shalimar police team has arrested two members of an impersonator gang and recovered cash and weapons with ammunition from their possession, a Police Public Relation Officer said. Following the special directions of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad capital police had categorically started a crackdown against criminal elements in order to save the precious lives and property of citizens.
Following these directions, a Shalimar police team arrested two members of the impersonator gang and recovered cash and weapons with ammunition from their possession. The accused were identified as Muhammad Adnan and Talah Ejaz. Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway from them.
CPO /DIG Operations Islamabad Syed Shehzad Nadeem Bukhari directed all senior officials for effective crackdown against the accused involved in heinous crimes. “Safety and security of the citizens is our foremost priority and no laxity will be tolerated in this regard” he added.
