Education is an important means for the elevation of individuals and the development of nations, said Halal Wasan, a member of the Sindh Assembly belonging to the Pakistan People’s Party. Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of a new school near Rasool Bux Mari village, Wasan emphasized the transformative power of quality education.
Wasan considered education as a means of creating awareness and consciousness and highlighted its necessity for national development. He stressed the importance of providing access to education for every child, which he termed as “jewels” that can lead them to great heights.
In addition to his focus on education, Wasan expressed concern over the impact of substance abuse among the youth. He disclosed that the Sindh government is actively tackling this issue through a crackdown on drug dealers and smugglers. He appealed for community cooperation to protect the youth from the dangers of addiction.
The ceremony was attended by several prominent figures, including Sardar Advocate Rais Abdul Hussain Mari and Advocate Altaf Hussain Mari, General Secretary of the District Bar Association Khairpur.
Furthermore, Halal Wasan confidently stated that the Pakistan People’s Party holds a special place in the hearts of the people. He expressed hope for the party’s success in the upcoming elections, mentioning its commitment to public service.
At the end of the ceremony, Halal Wasan toured the school’s facilities and pledged continued support for the improvement of educational institutions. He reiterated his dedication to enhancing the quality of education in the region.
