A significant increase has been observed in the prices of gold and silver, notable both locally and internationally.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Jewellers Association, there has been a notable increase in gold prices in the local market today. The price of gold per tola has increased by 2,400 rupees, now reaching 424,236 rupees. Similarly, the price of ten grams of gold has increased by 2,057 rupees, now reaching 363,713 rupees.
Globally, gold followed the same trend. The price per ounce increased by 24 dollars, now reaching 4,018 dollars.
An increase was also observed in silver prices. In the country, the price of silver per tola increased by 41 rupees, now reaching 6,070 rupees. The price of ten grams increased by 36 rupees, now reaching 5,204 rupees.
In international markets, the price of silver per ounce reached 55.91 dollars, reflecting an increase alongside gold prices.
