Srinagar, September 28, 2019 (PPI-OT):In occupied Kashmir, an officer of India’s Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle in Jammu. An Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of the ITBP, Jaswant Singh, was found dead with a bullet injury in his neck at Van Bhawan near Rail head complex in Jammu. Singh hailed from Himachal Pradesh. This incident of suicide raised the number of such deaths among Indian troops and police personnel to 442 since January 2007.
