Karachi: During the holy month of Ramadan, inDrive Pakistan launched an initiative to distribute ration packages to its drivers in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad. According to inDrive, the ride-hailing platform collaborated with social media influencers who booked rides through the app, surprising drivers with Ramadan ration packages and appreciation gifts.
Awais Saeed, Country Manager of inDrive Pakistan, emphasized the importance of recognizing the efforts of drivers. "Behind all our activities as a platform, the real driving force is our drivers. This Ramadan, we wanted to appreciate their hard work in a way that would truly benefit them and their families," Saeed stated.
inDrive, operating in 1,065 cities across 48 countries, is transitioning toward becoming a super app by introducing additional local urban services. The company has completed over 7 billion transactions globally, with its app downloaded more than 390 million times, ranking as the second most downloaded ride-hailing app worldwide.
