Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, today introduced the “Digital Advertising Policy 2026.”
This extraordinary policy is designed to integrate modern technology into the governmental structure, enhancing transparency and accessibility for the public. Primarily, this initiative revolves around the launch of an innovative “Digital Media Registration Platform” by Balochistan’s Department General of Public Relations (DGPR).
This platform provides a streamlined process for digital publishers and social media influencers across the province to officially register themselves. It opens doors for these individuals to actively engage in promoting government initiatives and participating in welfare projects for regional development.
Furthermore, this platform promises to provide a dignified source of online income for youth and media professionals, encouraging entrepreneurial spirit and innovation in Balochistan’s digital arena.
This initiative reflects Chief Minister Bugti’s vision to empower the young generation through the use of digital tools, fostering a culture of responsible and effective digital engagement.
As the platform becomes operational, it is expected to revolutionize the way digital content is created and shared in the province, potentially setting a standard for other regions in the country.
The digital policy is not only a step towards modernization but also reflects Balochistan’s commitment to embracing change and utilizing technology for sustainable growth and development.
