Iran keen to strengthen trade cooperation with Pakistan: Ambassador Hosseini 

Islamabad, September 07, 2022 (PPI-OT):Iran has expressed the desire to further strengthen mutual trade cooperation with Pakistan. In an interview with APP, Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan Mohammad Ali Hosseini expressed Tehran’s desire to complete the Iran-Pakistan Gas Pipeline project and extend cooperation in other fields of mutual interest.

He also expressed Iran’s desire for progress in establishment of border markets, finalization of a free trade agreement, and collaboration on major ports and security areas. The ambassador said there are no sanctions on export of gas from Iran and Pakistan can take full benefit of it to fulfil its energy needs.
