Senior police officials, including SP Soan zone Pari Gul Tareen and SP Rural zone Kazim Naqvi, today organized open courts across Islamabad to engage with citizens and address their concerns. The initiative saw officers from the Islamabad Police, including all SDPOs and SHOs, facilitating these sessions in various masjids to provide immediate assistance.
During these open courts, residents voiced their issues and shared their suggestions for improvements. Officers took immediate steps by instructing relevant staff to resolve the presented issues and guaranteed the implementation of the suggestions.
The officers, addressing the attendees, mentioned that these open courts align with the directives from Inspector General of Police Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi. The goal is to promptly tackle public complaints and regional matters. They highlighted the importance of maintaining direct communication with citizens to address their problems efficiently.
Assurances were given that the police are dedicated to ensuring safety and prioritizing the resolution of raised concerns. It was also noted that the improved policing strategy has led to a notable decrease in crime rates in the city, though efforts to further improve the situation continue.
For effective action against land grabbing, criminal activities, and drug trafficking, public cooperation is deemed essential. The police emphasized the need for community support to clamp down on these issues and encouraged citizens to report any suspicious activities to their local police stations for swift action.
Participants of the open courts appreciated the initiative and extended their gratitude to the IGP Islamabad and the involved officers for their proactive approach in engaging with the community and addressing public concerns.
