Islamabad police have confiscated a substantial quantity of illegal narcotics and weapons, resulting in the apprehension of 26 individuals suspected of involvement in various criminal endeavors.

The operation, conducted by teams from multiple police stations including Aabpara, Kohsar, Karachi Company, Ramna, Sumbal, Noon, and Shahzad Town, led to the seizure of over 1.5 kilograms of hashish, over 1 kilogram of heroin, and nearly a kilogram of crystal methamphetamine.

Authorities also confiscated 141 bottles of illicit liquor, five pistols with accompanying ammunition, and a dagger. Cases have been filed against the 20 detainees, and investigations are currently underway.

In a parallel initiative focused on capturing fugitives and individuals evading law enforcement, six additional suspects were apprehended.

Under the guidance of Islamabad”s Inspector General of Police, the capital”s police force is maintaining a proactive stance against criminal activity to safeguard public safety and tranquility.

The department emphasizes its dedication to protecting residents and their belongings, vowing to prevent any disruption of peace. Maintaining order and citizen security remain paramount for the Islamabad Police.
