Islamabad Police show security preparedness through flag march

Islamabad, July 20, 2018 (PPI-OT): Islamabad Police Thursday conducted flag march with an objective to maintain peace and tranquillity in the city and to show security measures. The flag march was conducted following directions of SSP Islamabad Najeeb-ur-Rehman Bugvi and was participated by Superintendents of Police Rural Zone Liaquat Hayat Khan Niazi, Sub-Divisional Police Officers, Station House Officers of Rural and Industrial Area police stations, Islamabad Traffic Police, Police Commandos, Rescue 15 police and police patrolling officials.

Flag march started from Pakistan Sports Complex and culminated Zero Point after Rawal Dam Chowk, Shehzad town, Tramri Chowk, Lehtrar road, Khana Bridge, Koral Chowk, PWD Housing Society, Expressway and Faizabad. SSP Islamabad Njaeeb-ur-Rehman Bugvi has said that Islamabad police have made comprehensive security arrangements for protection to the lives and property of the citizens. He said that police would accomplish responsibility in an efficient manner to ensure protection to lives and property of citizens.

Mr. Najeeb-ur-Rehman Bugvi said that Islamabad Police have made full preparations for high alert security and operational police men have been assigned their duties in various areas. He also asked d to ensure effective coordination among all wings of Islamabad police and assisting security agencies. He also directed all the SDPOs and the SHOs to make effective security arrangements in their respective areas.
