ISLAMABAD: The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has rejected the baseless speculations on social media that Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir is visiting the United States.
In a tweet on Thursday, Director General ISPR Major General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry categorically stated that the Army Chief is on an official visit to the United Kingdom from 5th to 10th of this month in connection with 5th Pakistan-UK Stabilisation Conference.
He said the conference is a bi-annual event for military to military cooperation between the two countries. He said senior Pakistan military leadership has been participating in the event since 2016.
