Jamaat-e-Islami has announced a complete shutdown strike on April 26 in Mardan against the brutality of Israel, which will include the business community, all private schools, and various organizations.

District leader of Jamaat-e-Islami, Ghulam Rasool, stated during a press conference that Israel’s bombings and attacks on innocent Palestinians are intolerable.

Two factions of the Central Traders Organization, Ehsan Bacha and Zahir Shah group, also attended the press conference. They stated that the entire business community will ensure the success of this strike. They announced a boycott of Israeli products and demanded from the government to immediately ban Israeli goods.

Ghulam Rasool said that war and jihad are driven by the spirit of faith, and this spirit exists among Muslims. He called upon the Army Chief to play his role as a Muslim military leader. The strike by Jamaat-e-Islami has been declared a historic strike.

Zahir Shah and Ehsan Bacha stated that all Islamic countries should rise above politics and raise their voices against Israel’s oppression. They urged the people of Mardan to participate in the strike and rally to show solidarity with their Palestinian brothers.

The president of All Private Schools, Sohail Iqbal, also expressed solidarity with Jamaat-e-Islami and assured full cooperation.
