JI Leader Concerned Over Deteriorating Law and Order Situation in Karachi

The Amir of JamaateIslami Karachi, Muneem Zafar, on Tuesday expressed deep concern over the issues facing the city during a press conference, stating that the people of Karachi are being deprived of basic facilities.

He declared the recent strike successful, thanked the people of Karachi, and expressed solidarity with the people of Gaza.

Zafar mentioned that Alkhidmat has sent its twentyfourth aid to the brothers in Gaza and appealed to the people of Karachi to boycott Israeli products. He condemned the baton charge on participants at four to five protest sites in Sindh province.

He demanded that the Pakistan Peoples Party improve the law and order situation in the province. Speaking about the increasing accidents and street crimes in Karachi, he said that the government has failed to provide security to the public.

Zafar expressed that the water and electricity crisis in the city is worsening, and the education system has deteriorated. He noted that Karachi has been suffering from a water shortage for the past twenty years, and the K4 project is still incomplete.

He added that the BRT system has complicated the city’s problems, and the condition of University Road has become deplorable. Muneem Zafar asserted that JamaateIslami will continue to highlight Karachi’s issues on every platform.
