Srinagar, September 29, 2018 (PPI-OT): The Jammu and Kashmir Self-Determination Movement International (JKSDMI) team led by Chairman, Raja Najabat Hussain, organised International Kashmir Conference in the European Parliament in Brussels with the support of Friends of Kashmir in the EU Parliament.
The conference was attended by the delegates from UK and Europe, representatives of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir chapter and several organisations working on Kashmir issue in Public and Parliaments as well as in the United Nations.
The conference was chaired jointly by Anthea McIntyre MEP, Richard Corbett MEP and Raja Najabat Hussain, Chairman JKSDMI, and the speakers included Pakistani Ambassador to Belgium, Naghmana Hashmi; Pakistani Senators Faisal Javed and Karim Tareen; Julie Ward MEP; Alex Myers MEP; Dr Syed Nazir Ahmed Gilani, President Jammu Kashmir Human Rights Council in United Nations; Shaikh Tajammul-ul-Islam, Executive Director Kashmir Media Services Islamabad; Abdul Hameed Lone Secretary Information APHC-AJK; Syed Aijaz Ahmed APHC-AJK leader; Zafar Ahmed, Chairman Kashmir Campaign Global; Ali Raza Syed, Chairman Kashmir Council Europe; Nayeem Chaudhary, Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Forum, France; Zulfiqar Butt, Secretary General of Jammu and Kashmir Forum, France; Muhammed Azam, Secretary General JKSDMI; Councillor Yasmin Dar, Chairperson JKSDMI; Harry Boota, Director Administration JKSDMI; Sardar Sadiq Khan, President PTI Belgium; Ambassador Anthony and in attendance more than 50 delegates.
