KARACHI:As many as 1,405 Coronavirus (COVID-19) patients were brought to the COVID-19 Isolation Ward of Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) from 18 March to 31 December 2020 out of which 54 died due to the virus related complications.
The JPMC data showed that a total of 22,871 tests were conducted from 18 March to 31 December 2020 out of which 1,405 patients got admission to the COVID-19 Ward for treatment while 37 are still admitted to the ward.
The data further showed that out of total 1,405 admissions, 983 are male and 422 female. About 54 patients died of COVID-19 related complications in previous year.
