Karachi, October 25, 2019 (PPI-OT): The KDA Governing Body (GB) meeting held at KDA Civic Centre Building which was presiding by Minster for Local government Mr. Syed Nasir Hussain Shah. In GB briefing it was told that on the instruction of Supreme Court more than 2000 plot were evicted from illegal occupants while monitoring system had implemented on that land. In GB, it was proposed that transfer fees of land in different KDA schemes and townships must be increased to 150 square yard while Committee was constructed on the matter in which 2 member from Revenue, Director Land, Director Recovery and Deputy Secretary Local Government were included.
GB order to concerned officials to submit a report regarding the auction in next meeting. Minster for Local Government Syed Nasir Hussain Shah order that committee would be constructed for regularization of contract employees which were headed by DG KDA Dr. Badar Jameel while Secretary KDA, Director Finance and Local government officer will be include. During meeting along with Minster for Local Government, member governing body Shamim Mumtaz, Secretary Local Government Roshan Sheikh, DG KDA Dr. Badar Jameel, Chief Engineer Ram Chand, Director Finance Arshad Abbas, Member A Atta Abbas Zaidi, Media Coordinator Akram Sattar and other officers.
