Following strong demands from the urban community and a huge surge in public support, the city’s municipal leadership has launched a vigorous campaign to target unauthorized advertisements in the urban center.
The Mayor Karachi today also directed the City Wardens and Municipal Utility Charges and Taxes to significantly increase their efforts. This directive has led to the immediate implementation of double shift operations, ensuring consistent enforcement across the metropolis.
The enforcement drive against unlawful publicity materials has garnered considerable community backing, prompting authorities to strengthen measures. These extended-hours operations are now fully operational, aiming to curb the proliferation of illegal outdoor media.
The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation confirms that this intensified drive is a direct response to widespread calls for action against visual pollution caused by illicit advertising structures and banners.
