Additional IG Karachi Azad Khan praised the police officers and personnel for their performance in the bold and successful action against criminal elements within the limits of Taimuria police station.
Three alleged dacoits were killed while a fourth was arrested in an injured condition in an intense exchange of fire with law enforcement agencies following a house robbery and hostage-taking incident in the Buffer Zone area on Sunday.
According to a press release issued from the office of the Additional Inspector General (IG) Karachi, authorities received timely information and a police party was dispatched as the suspects fled.
Additional IG Karachi Azad Khan praised the “brave and successful action” of the police officers and personnel against the criminal elements. The police chief further added that the Karachi Police “is committed to the protection of citizens and the elimination of crime.”
