To tackle the increasing rate of accidents on roads, a traffic awareness program was held on Tuesday at the Government Degree Boys College in Gulistan-e-Jauhar. The primary objective of this initiative was to educate students about important traffic laws, the importance of wearing a helmet, and overall road safety.
During the session, the participants were informed about the key aspects of traffic rules and regulations. The program emphasized the importance of adhering to safety protocols as part of a campaign titled “Your Travel Companion.”
The Karachi Police, which was leading the event, highlighted the alarming increase in road accidents in recent months. By targeting the youth, they hope to instill a sense of responsibility and awareness that can lead to making the city’s roads safer.
