Kashmir disputed pending with UN for past 70 years: Inqilabi

Srinagar, August 10, 2018 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Islami Tanzeem-e-Azadi Jammu and Kashmir Abdul Samad Inqilabi has said that Kashmir dispute is pending resolution with the United Nations for the past over 70 years. Abdul Samad Inqilabi addressing a public gathering in Shopian said that it was the then Indian Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru who had taken the Kashmir dispute to the United Nations and the World Body had passes several successive resolutions for its settlement.

He said that the abrogation of the Article 35-A, which bars outsiders from buying land in Jammu and Kashmir, was aimed at changing the demography of the territory and settling Indian citizens in Kashmir which would not be tolerated. A protest procession was also taken out after Juma prayers and funeral in absentia led by the Abdul Samad Inqilabi was offered for the martyred youth.
