Kashmiris’ sacrifices will not go waste: Shafi Lone

Srinagar, April 23, 2020 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, APHC leader and the Jammu Kashmir Employees Movement Chairman, Muhammad Shafi Lone has said that India is hell-bent to suppress the Kashmiris’ freedom movement through military might but will never succeed. Muhammad Shafi Lone in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Kashmir was a political dispute and needed political settlement.

He said that the sacrifices of Kashmiri people would not be allowed to go waste and their mission would be accomplished at all costs. He said that the atrocities were being committed to suppress Kashmiri voices but the oppressors were forgetting that freedom movements of nations never get suppressed by such kinds of tyrannies.

He also condemned the continued illegal detention of Hurriyat leaders and thousands of activists languishing in different jails of India and the occupied territory. Muhammad Shafi Lone said that it seemed that the UN-like global organization was so helpless before the cruel forces of the world that it was unable to implement its own resolutions on Kashmir.

He said that when the whole world was engulfed by coronavirus and hundreds of humans lost their precious lives globally, the Indian Hindu extremist rulers led by Modi were busy in making anti-Kashmiri and anti-Muslim plots. He also condemned the harassment of Kashmiri journalists, Masarrat Zehra, Aashaq Peerzada and Gowhar Geelani by the Indian government for exposing Indian brutalities in occupied Kashmir.
