Karachi, August 11, 2018 (PPI-OT): Director General Karachi Development Authority, Mr. Samiuddin Siddiqui has said that for the encourage and enhancement of sports activities golden crown rewarded to national cricket team skipper Mr. Sarfaraz Ahamed as youth could be encouraged to taking efforts for education and sports activities. He was addressing to a celebration regarding Jashan-e- Azadi which was organized by (CBA) mazdoor union here in C.O.D Hales School. On that occasion skipper National Cricket team Mr. Sarfaraz Ahmed said that National team would be performed better and positively in coming Asia Cup.
He praised Director General Mr. Samiuddin Siddiqui on taking efforts for the enhancement of sports activities in city and hoped for celebrated such type of program in future. On that occasion Director General Mr. Samiuddin Siddiqui presented a golden crown to Mr. Sarfaraz Ahmed on their glorious performance for National Cricket team and different shields were distributed among officers. During celebration Chairman CBA, Mazdoor Union Abdul Mateen Sheikh said that students should continued their education and sports while later on national flag was being hoisted by Mr. Samiuddin Siddiqui and skipper national Cricket Team Mr. Sarfaraz Ahmed.
On that occasion General Secretary Mazdoor Union Ashfaque Chishti thanked all the participants on their presence. Jashan-e-Azadi celebration was attended by former Olympian Waseem Feroz, Safdar Abbas, Secretary KDA, Fuzail Bukhari, Director Finance Atta Abbas, Chief Engineer Shabir Ahmed, Director Admin Mehboob Aalim, Chief Medical officer Shahid Mehboob, Executive Engineer Aarif Raza, Zahid Husain, from KDA employees union Naveed Anwar, sports organizer M.Naseem, Media Coordinator Akram Sattar and other officers.
