Khairpur hospitals are filled with malaria patients, including children, women, and the elderly

Khairpur’s hospitals are filled with hundreds of malaria patients, including a large number of children, women, and the elderly, as a severe epidemic has broken out due to the alleged complete absence of a preventive anti-malaria spray campaign in the district.

This mosquito-borne disease is rapidly spreading in several tehsils like Gambat, Kot Diji, Sobhodero, Rani Pur, and Pir jo Goth. Medical centers across the district are reportedly filled beyond capacity, causing difficulties for the administration and leaving patients feeling helpless.

During this growing health crisis, a meeting was also held today by DC Khairpur Fayaz Rahoojo. Citizens have demanded the Chief Minister of Sindh to conduct a malaria spray campaign in Khairpur.
