Khuzdar:Khuzdar levies claimed to have foiled the bid to smuggle 14kg high quality hashish to Karachi in an operation conducted in Wadh area of district Khuzdar in Balochistan province on Monday. Two alleged accused were also arrested during the operation.Following the directions of Deputy Commissioner, Khuzdar, Major (Retd) Muhammad Ilyas Kibzai and Assistant Commissioner, Wadh, Muhammad Iqbal Khosa, levies force, Khuzdar under the supervision of Risaldar, Levies Force, Khuzdar, and Abdul Qadir Bajoe seized 14 kilo high quality hashish, which was to be smuggled to Karachi, from the hidden cavities of vehicle No. ALM-353 in an operation conducted in Wadh area of district Khuzdar.Two alleged accused namely Asmatullah, resident of Killa Abdullah and Muhammad Asif, resident of Rahim Yar Khan, were also apprehended during the operation. The seized hashis and alleged accused were shifted to Levies Station, Wadh where case against the alleged accused was lodged under section 9C at Levies Station, Hub. Further investigation was being conducted by the authorities of Levies Station, Wadh.
