QUETTA: Chairman, Kisan Ittehad, Khalid Hussain Batt, on Tuesday, said that Government of the Punjab and Sindh were granting subsidies to peasants, but government of Balochistan has not provided any kind of relief to the peasants of the province.
Addressing a press conference at Quetta Press Conference, he said that if only Rakhshan division of Balochistan province was altered into solar system, wheat produced by Rakhshan division would be suffice to be complete the wheat requirement of other provinces of the country.
He said that subsidy granted to Balochistan could not reach to the peasants of the province. Condemning attack on Pakistan Army in North Waziristan, he said that Jawans of Pak-Army, who were the sons of peasants, would not hesitate to render any kind of sacrifice for the defence of the country.
