Kite Twine Related Death: Punjab Chief Minister suspends DSP and SHO Sabzazar

Lahore, March 09, 2018 (PPI-OT): Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has taken strict notice of the incidents of kite-flying in the provincial metropolis and sought a report from the IG Police. He has issued directions to suspend DSP and SHO Sabzazar over the strangulation of a person due to kite twine in this area. He regretted the occurrence of kite-flying despite ban and directed that law banning kite-flying must be implemented strictly and action will be initiated against the concerned police officers wherever complaint is received. The Chief Minister has also expressed deep sense of sorrow over passing away of the 35-year old person and extended sympathies to the bereaved family.
