KP CM Orders Top Medical Care for Officers Wounded in Laram Attack

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi on Thursday visited Timergara Teaching Hospital in Lower Dir to meet police personnel injured in the recent Laram attack, directing authorities to provide them with the highest standard of medical treatment.

Accompanied by the Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the Regional Police Officer (RPO) Malakand, the chief minister was briefed on the condition of the injured officers during his visit to the hospital.

Afridi offered prayers for the swift recovery of the wounded personnel and for the departed souls of those who lost their lives in the incident, expressing solidarity with their families and colleagues.

He lauded the courage and commitment demonstrated by the police force, stating that the sacrifices rendered by police officers and other security institutions in the country’s battle against militancy merited the utmost respect and recognition from the nation.

The chief minister also instructed hospital management to ensure that all injured personnel receive comprehensive and uninterrupted medical care, reaffirming the provincial government’s support for members of the security forces injured in the line of duty.
