KP Govt decides to launch nine new social welfare projects

ISLAMABAD: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to launch nine new social welfare projects under the Prime Minister Ehsaas Program focusing on establishing shelter homes, rehabilitation and treatment centers for drug addicts and educational institutions for impaired students.

 

According to Incharge Social Welfare Department Drugs Treatment and Rehabilitation Center Peshawar, Dr Amjad Khan, twelve new detoxification and rehabilitation centers for treatment of drug addicts will be established in different districts with an estimated cost of four hundred and fifty million rupees.
