Islamabad: The teachers of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) held protest and sit-in at Bani Gala gate in Islamabad on Tuesday.
Sensing danger, a large contingent of police and the youth of PTI’s Tiger Force reached the spot. Tiger Force jawans tried to disperse the protestors on their own, forcing the police to intervene and ask them not to take the law into their own hands.
Meanwhile, Federal Minister for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb, while commenting on the teachers’ protest at Bani Gala, said that Imran was reaping what he had sowed. “The kind of protest he is facing these days is the same he has been holding for the last several years against his political opponents,” she commented.
In a tweet, she also shared with the readers a private TV channel’s video footage in which the teachers could be seen protesting at Bani Gala for the acceptance of their demands and even entering Aleema’s home.
