The 44th death anniversary of renowned Pakistani film actor Syed Musa Abbas Raza, popularly known as Santosh Kumar, was observed today.
Born in Lahore in 1925, Santosh Kumar emerged as one of the leading stars of Pakistan’s film industry and is widely regarded as the country’s first romantic hero.
He captivated audiences with his memorable performances during the 1950s and 1960s.
Santosh Kumar had the distinction of receiving the first-ever Nigar Award for Best Actor for his outstanding performance in the film “Waada”.
He passed away in Lahore on this day in 1982.
